Cabins are very authentically cottage like but with hot water and flushing toilets. Grounds are maintained well. Has a boat launch and small marina for smaller size boats. You are able to fish right from the property. There is also a shed provided to clean the fish with a scaling apparatus. The owner (Brian), is honest, personable and helpful. Other patrons are always friendly/sociable. It has become a place I like to visit at least once a year for a week's time. Many of my family members now visiting the resort for their getaway from the city. I strongly recommend a stay here! The only immediate improve I could appreciate is perhaps a small tuck shop on site

Just stayed a few days with my family. VERY family friendly environment. Owners are very cool and welcoming. The view from the Cottage and property is second to none. Great value - we will definitely stay here again.

Suni Vale Resort is located on the Beautiful Rice Lake. The property is well maintained and the view of the lake and surrounding area IS spectacular. My family and friends have spent time at Suni Vale three times so far, with more visits to come. The cabins are spacious and clean, and the wood paneling give them a very cozy cottage feeling. The owner Brian and his family are Welcoming and Friendly. They make your stay feel more like a "home away from home". The facilities include a playground for the kids complete with sand box. My grand-daughter spent hours playing in it. You can fish, swim, boat or just read a book while swinging in a hammock or log swing overlooking the beautiful, peaceful lake. Suni Vale Resort is a rare Gem, if you are looking for a Beautiful, Relaxing place to get away....THIS IS IT!!!!!

Nice cottage along the lake and boating facilities are available at extra cost. Parking is available. GPS may not lead to the exact location and you need to follow the road signs. Good place for birders and nature photography. Mosquitoes can be a problem during dusk outdoors. Therefore repellant are advised. Rooms are not sound proof and you can hear snoring in the next room. Therefore couples should take precautions. Also the location is not reachable by public transport

Great cottage with stunning views. Also great for kids as they have swings and volleyball net. Great for renting boats too.

I love sunivale, I've been coming for 8 years now. It will always hold a special place in my heart due to all the memories I've made here. The cabins are nice, but the view is amazing. The cabins are right on the water. There's a great rock that you can jump off and swim. Amazing sunsets and sunrises. You're able to see the stars well. Fun attractions around. I've caught many many fish here, sunfish, bass, perch, carp and pike. There's also frogs and many turtle along with pretty butterflies. I hope to come to sunivale for many more years, and one day bring my own little family here.

Great owner, grounds are well kept, swimming area with a great view of the lake . All cottages have a view of the lake which is great too plus a fire pit to sit around at night under the stars!
